NEW YORK — Police are seeking for a gentleman who threw urine on a New York Metropolis Transit bus driver. The assault took place Friday early morning when bus operator Trellis Robinson was finding up passengers.
Robinson mentioned her eyes ended up however burning Saturday afternoon.
“I just froze. I didn’t know if I was likely to start out melting or burning. I just failed to know what it was at the time,” she reported.
The MTA bus operator stated she was pulling into the 138th Street and Grand Concourse stop when she was attacked.
“I found a cup in his hand and I just imagined he was a panhandler. So when the light improved I built the suitable and pulled into the halt. As the passengers have been loading I shut the doors, I turned to glimpse in the mirror to pull out of the bus quit, and he was there and he just doused me with liquid, urine in my confront,” Robinson explained.
The New York Law enforcement Office is examining the bus’ dashboard digicam and other surveillance cameras in the place in hopes of determining the suspect.
Transportation Staff Union officer Oneshia Portlette-Shade stated the attacker did the similar point to a feminine coach operator on Grand Concourse and Brooke Avenue an hour in advance of the attack on Robinson.

Robinson mentioned she hopes police make an arrest.
