Activist attorney Cory Briggs is dropping his bid to turn into Mayor of San Diego in 2020.
“Four months of campaigning reminds me how significantly far better I am at practicing regulation than politics,” he said in statement shared with local media.
Briggs announced his candidacy in January, pursuing Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s yearly Condition of the City speech in which he called for a removal of advancement restrictions to boost construction of inexpensive housing.
