SAN DIEGO (AP) — 5 kittens that stowed away on a 400-mile excursion to San Diego are wanting for new houses.
The San Diego Humane Society says the kittens someway wound up inside of a 60-foot metal column that was trucked from Hayward in the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego.
On April 24, construction employees constructing new Kaiser Permanente health-related workplaces listened to meows coming from the column.
They tilted the column and the week-old kittens slid out. It is unclear no matter if the stowaways came aboard in Hayward of someplace along the route.
The kittens are now in foster treatment and will be ready for adoption in one more few of months.
And they’ve been specified correct construction names: Crowbar, Rebar, Chisel, Jackhammer and Piper.
