The San Diego County Sheriff’s Division claims its Vista station will carry out a sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint Friday evening and early Saturday morning at an unspecified location in the North County town.
Deputies will quit drivers to check out for liquor or drug impairment beginning at 8:30 p.m. and continuing until finally 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
“The checkpoint will consist of DUI and Drug Recognition Specialist properly trained deputies who will be assessing drivers’ skills to properly run motor motor vehicles if they are less than the affect of liquor or drugs,” authorities said.
As perfectly, all drivers will be checked to make sure that they have a valid driver’s license.
Funding for the checkpoint was furnished by a grant from the California Place of work of Targeted visitors Safety by the Nationwide Freeway Traffic Safety Administration.
