A 30-calendar year-outdated male accused of capturing an off-duty sheriff’s deputy in Los Angeles County, leaving the lawman on life assistance, is remaining investigated as a doable suspect in four San Diego County armed robberies and one attempted heist, police said Wednesday.
Rhett Nelson, 30, of St. George, Utah, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the Monday afternoon capturing of Los Angeles County sheriff‘s Deputy Joseph Gilbert Solano. Solano, 50, who was off-obligation, was shot in the head in an evidently random assault although ready at the counter of a Jack in the Box eatery in Alhambra.
