Jude Legislation is established to star in a new drama set on a mysterious island populated with secretive inhabitants.

Entitled The Third Day, the Sky and HBO collection follows a male named Sam (Legislation) who just after being drawn to an island off the British Coastline, is thrown into the abnormal entire world of those people who are living there.

Isolated from the mainland, the rituals of the island begin to overwhelm him and he is confronted by a trauma from his earlier. As the line between reality and fantasy blurs, Sam finds himself at odds with the islanders.

The six-component series is the initially authentic drama to be produced by Sky’s new output residence, Sky Studios, in partnership with Approach B Enjoyment, immersive theatre company Punchdrunk Intercontinental and writer Dennis Kelly.

Cameron Roach, director of drama and Sky Studios, Sky United kingdom and Eire, stated: “Sky Studios is delighted to be partnering with Prepare B, Punchdrunk Intercontinental and HBO on this exciting collection.

“The Third Working day is the final result of the intoxicating put together imaginations of Dennis Kelly and Punchdrunk International’s Felix Barrett and have resulted in astonishing scripts.

“To see them introduced to lifestyle under the path of Marc Munden and with Jude Law at the helm of what promises to be a earth class forged, is an amazingly fascinating prospect.”

Casey Bloys, president, HBO Programming, mentioned: “Dennis and Felix have created a little something fresh new and exclusive and we are thrilled to have this on HBO.

“We search ahead to collaborating with Punchdrunk Global, Marc and Jude as perfectly as furthering our romantic relationship with Sky and System B Leisure.”

Manufacturing starts in the Uk in July.

The Third Day will air in Ireland next calendar year on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW Tv, and in the US on HBO.
