A rescue team in New Brunswick partly freed a single of 3 entangled North Atlantic correct whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence this 7 days.
The Office of Fisheries and Oceans said right whale No. 4423, a 5-yr-old male, was noticed around 10 a.m. regional time on Thursday throughout an aerial surveillance flight by the U.S. Countrywide Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The Campobello Whale Rescue crew eliminated fishing gear that kept the whale from applying its tail when diving.
